AbstractThe optically active sulfinyl‐p‐benzoquinone (VI) undergoes Diels‐Alder reaction with the 1,3‐dienes (VII) to produce the naphthoquinones (IX) via spontaneous aromatization of the intermediate cycloadducts (VIII).
