Abstract
AbstractIsatin reacts with alkyl and aryl Grignard reagents to form 3‐substituted 3‐hydroxyoxindoles which are subsequently transformed with various nucleophiles, including allylstannane, thiophenol, indole, acetophenone enol trimethylsilylether and dimethyl malonate.
