Abstract
Abstracto‐Amidophenyloxazolines undergo excited‐state intramolecular proton transfer affording aza‐o‐xylylenes which are suitable for intramolecular [4+2] and [4+4] cycloadditions with tethered unsaturated pendants leading to the primary photoadducts.
