AbstractThe palladium‐catalyzed decarboxylation‐dehydrogenation reaction of the allyl esters (I) of β‐oxoalkanoic acids or the 1‐alkenyl allyl carbonates (III) yields the α,β‐unsaturated ketones (II) or (IV).
