AbstractDepending on the acidity of the amido group, treatment of the Rh dimer (I) with two equiv. of the Li amides (III) leads either to a single product, the μ‐methylamido A‐frame complex (IIa) with a bridging bis(diphenylphosphino)methanide ligand or to a mixture of the analogous μ‐arylamido complexes (IIb,c) and the μ‐imido A‐frame complexes (IVb,c).
