Abstract

AbstractAlthough the spectral data, obtained during the reduction of Cu(II) to Cu(I) ions in partially Cu(II)‐exchanged zeolite Y by CO and coadsorbed NH3 at 298‐673 K, are complex the formation of a variety of species including (Cu(NH3))2+, (CuCO(NH3)n)+, NH4+, and NH3 interacting with structural OH groups are identified.
