Abstract
AbstractTwo new series of compounds, triazolothiadiazoles (V) and (VIII) are synthesized by cyclocondensation of dihydrotriazolethione (III) with aromatic carboxylic acids (IV) and by reaction of (III) with aromatic aldehydes (VI) yielding the open chain hydrazones (VII) which undergo intramolecular Mannich reaction in the presence of toluenesulfonic acid.
