Abstract
Abstract The four-component domino reactions of (E)-3-(dimethylamino)-1-arylprop-2-en-1-ones with anilines, aromatic aldehydes, and 1,3-cyclohexanediones in an equimolar ratio in acetic acid afforded functionalized tetrahydroquinolones in good yields. This one-pot transformation involves the formation of two C–C and two C–N bonds in a single synthetic operation.
