Abstract

AbstractA chiral N,N′‐dioxide—nickel(II) complex is applied in the asymmetric direct aldol reaction of α‐isothiocyanato imide (I) with aromatic, α,‐unsaturated, heteroaromatic, and aliphatic aldehydes are converted into the desired adducts with high enantioselectivities under mild conditions.
