AbstractThe fluorinated alkenyl phosphates (I) are subjected to reaction with LiAlH4 in the presence of metal halogenides such as CuBr2 to generate the corresponding enolates which react in situ with aldehydes, e.g. (II), to give the aldol adducts (III).
