AbstractThe acetyl methyl carbinol (II) and the β‐aminopropionate (I) react with the tert‐butyl cyanoacetate (III) to give the pyrrole (IV) which is cyclized using methanesulfonic acid to yield the pyrrolopyrimidine (Va).
