Abstract1‐(1‐Propylsulfonic)‐3‐methylimidazolium chloride is used as a green and reusable catalyst for the regioselective ring‐opening reactions of various epoxides with sodium azide to afford the corresponding β‐azido alcohols in excellent yields within short reaction times under mild conditions.
