Abstract
The ozonization process is one of the ~romising methods of purifying wastewaters from petrochemical manufacturing and making them harmless [i, 2]. There is little information in the literature about the chemical resistance of either constructional materials or of protective ones in the media which are formed during the process of treatingwastewaters from petrochemical manufacturing by the ozonization method. In the present work we give the results of chemical-resistance testing of various materials in the process of ozonizing condensates from s!ow-coking units (SCU).
