Abstract
The combustion characteristics of hydrogen-methane mixture were studied by onedimensional planar flame numerical simulation. The results show that with the increase of equivalence ratio, the thermal expansion ratio first increases and then decreases, and the maximum value is obtained near the equivalence ratio of 1.1, while the flame thickness first decreases and then increases, and the minimum value is obtained near the equivalence ratio of 1.1. The greater the hydrogen content, the smaller the thermal expansion ratio, the smaller the flame thickness, and the greater the fluid dynamics instability of the flame.
