Abstract
SynopsisLeaf‐burn of tobacco was significantly related to the leaf constituents in the following order of importance: K(+) > Cl(−) > SO4−S(−) > Mg(−) > NO3−N(−) > total N(−). Magnesium was the only constituent that was significantly related (inversely) to quality.
