Abstract

• Oils obtained from two T. grandis varieties were prepared, studied and compared. • C 18:2 and C 18:1 were the primary fatty acids in the T. grandis oils. • Sciadonic acid accounted for 9.18%–18.65% of the total fatty acids. • Results of HCA showed apparent distinctions among the test T. grandis oils. • MLR models were capable of predicting the antioxidant ability of the T. grandis oils.
