Abstract

(Latitude 38° 44′.0 N., longiude 76° 50′.5 or 5h 07m.4 W. of Gr.)April 15—Following a two‐day period of moderate disturbance in H and D, a storm of moderate intensity began with a disturbance in all three elements between 01h and 02h GMT, April 15, and ended about 2lh, April 15. The disturbance consisted of irregular oscillations of moderate amplitude and was greatest between 01h and 13h; after 13h all three traces began to reassume gradually their normal positions. Four K‐indices of 5 were recorded. Minimum H of 18060 gammas occurred at 12h 28m.
