Abstract
IT IS my great pleasure to report the continued good fortune of the Archives in the case of the appointment of Robert R. Kierland, MD, Professor of Dermatology, Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, University of Minnesota, and Head of the Section of Dermatology at the Mayo Clinic since 1962, as Chief Editor of theArchives of Dermatology, effective this issue. Concomitant with this action of the Board of Trustees of the American Medical Association, W. Mitchell Sams, Jr., MD, of the same department, was appointed Assistant Chief Editor. These actions followed immediately upon the acceptance of the resignation of Drs. Walter C. Lobitz and Richard L. Dobson from their respective positions in the editorial office, reverting meanwhile to positions on the Editorial Board.
