Abstract
We present here a commented list of the species of Plecoptera currently reported from the State of Espirito Santo, Brazil, based on literature, emendations and on a new record. A total of 39 species are cataloged, as well as their distribution area and additional comments. The present study represents an important contribution to the knowledge of the fauna of Plecoptera in Brazil, leading Espirito Santo to the second state with the largest number of stonefly species recorded from the country.
