Abstract

The adequacy of the mathematical model of the wear of electric brushes of direct current collector machines, taking into account the dynamics of their interaction with the collector surface, is verified. The wear of electric brushes in laboratory conditions and during operation of traction motors of rolling stock is analyzed. Comparison of the results of modeling and experimental studies using different criteria showed that the mathematical model of brush wear can be used to forecast the residual life of electric brushes with a given accuracy. Keywords: electric motor, electric brush, wear, mathematical modeling, forecasting, residual life. hvv-omgups@mail.ru, popovomsk@yandex.ru
