Abstract

ABSTRACT Wildwood Park was the pinnacle of Harrisburg's park system during the City Beautiful movement in the early twentieth century. But as the movement declined, so did the park. Eventually, Wildwood bounced back, returning to its place as a site for recreation, nature, and beauty.
