Charged-Pion Electroproduction from Protons up toQ2=9.5Gev2

Abstract

We report new measurements of inclusive pion electroproduction. Data were taken with a hydrogen target at the ($W,{Q}^{2}$) points (2.2 GeV, 1.2 ${\mathrm{GeV}}^{2}$), (2.7, 2.0), (2.7, 3.3), (2.7, 6.2), (2.7, 9.5), and (3.1, 4.5). The invariant structure function is studied as a function of $W$, ${Q}^{2}$, $\ensuremath{\omega}$, and ${x}^{\ensuremath{'}}$.
