Abstract

The objective of this work is to construct a gravastar model using thin-shell formalism and discuss its realistically accepted properties with the background of cylindrical metric. In this scenario, we matched the interior cylindrical geometry with exterior metric via Israel matching conditions. The stability of the constructed model under the influence of electric charge is then examined using linear perturbations around the equilibrium condition. We explored some stable regimes near the equilibrium condition with different values of charge as well as involved parameters.
