Abstract

Various probable mechanisms for a two-electon transfer step were discussed. The probability of the transfer of superfluid electrons depends on the coherence length of the Cooper-electron pair and the location of the two electron acceptor states (reactants) within the ionic conductor: to a single reactant or to two spatially separated reactants corresponding to a simultaneous and a bridge-assisted electron transfer reaction, respectively
