Abstract
In this paper the time dispersion behaviour of the Ultra-wideband radio channel from 0.3 up to 3 GHz is analysed. The results given have been extracted from a measurement campaign carried out in the Mobile Communications Group laboratory, in the iTEAM Research Institute, of the Technical University of Valencia. The measured Power Delay Profiles revealed the presence of two clusters of contributions in LOS conditions, the first one with a noticeable decreasing trend, and the second one with a slight trend, and only one cluster in NLOS conditions, with a similar trend to the second cluster of LOS profiles. Time dispersion parameters as delay spread, delay interval, delay window and coherence bandwidth are analysed. The results provided revealed that the channel time dispersion is higher in NLOS locations.
