Abstract
In this chapter, an overview of the thermal sprayed Fe-based metallic glassy coatings has been presented. First, the development of Fe-based metallic glass alloys and Fe-based metallic glassy coatings were briefly summarized. And then, basic theory of thermal spraying technology for the fabrication of Fe-based metallic glassy coatings was reviewed. And the primary findings of the Fe-based metallic glass coatings synthesized by different thermal spaying methods were presented. Finally, the tribology performance as one of the significant characterizations of Fe-based metallic glassy composite coatings was explained. And the influence factors of tribology and wear were summarized.
