Abstract

Graphene oxide was made from graphite by Hummer’s method. This method is economical and easily controlled and a best approach for extensive production of GO. Fabrication of a nanofiltration membrane was done from a microfiltration membrane. The formation of grapheme oxide was confirmed by SEM, FTIR spectroscopy and XRD. SEM investigation indicated that graphene oxide fills the pores of microfiltration layer. The subsequent structure was portrayed by (XRD). FTIR shows the nearness of oxygen-containing down to earth groups. SA and HA antifouling operators were used to test the antifouling property of the film. The FRR values of GO nanoparticles are 84% for SA and 90% for HA.
