Abstract
The static and dynamic characteristics of annular recess conical hydrostatic bearings with capillary and orifice restrictors were studied. The effect of rotational lubricant inertia was allowed for. Computations for various aspect and resistance ratios and speeds are tabulated in a form useful to designers.
