Abstract
A method has been designed for the evaluation of zeolite shape selective properties using the isomerisation of m–xylene as a test reaction. Simulation of the p/o ratio as a function of m–xylene conversion enables qualitative conclusions on the partition between the effects of diffusion inhibition and transition state shape selectivity.
