Chapter Three - Machinery and Equipment for Canned Citrus Product Processing

Abstract

During canned product processing, various transport machines are involved in the delivery of raw materials, including all of the processes from the raw materials to the final products, and each process from one manufacturing unit to a subsequent manufacturing unit. In particular, when advanced technology and equipment are applied, including the automation of single equipment units, systematic connections among these single manufacturing units are essential to establish an automatic production line. This chapter discusses these aspects, as well the transfer machines and equipment that are necessary to improve productivity under large-scale production conditions.
