Abstract

The use of polymer composite material is rising substantially over the last few years. For product assembly requirements in the mechanical system, drilling is the primary machining process to acquire the industry. This chapter aims to analyze the drilling parameters of carbon nanofiller/fiber-reinforced polymer nanocomposite, namely, spindle speed, feed, filler content. In particular, the effect on the machining performance is explored to investigate the productive environment. ANOVA examines the significance level of the process, model adequacy, and regression equation. Metaheuristics algorithm based on nature instigated Ant lion optimization (ALO) algorithm optimize the machining responses. MATLAB code is used to evaluate the fitness function for the ALO algorithm. Therefore, some primary observations experimental and numerical studies are proposed to recognize the response predictions. The results of the recommended work can be endorsed to control the production process quality and productivity indices dealing with varying constraints and multiple responses.
