Abstract
Calvinist theocracy's constitutes the theocratic destruction or subversion and domination of the civic sphere, notably individual moral freedom and responsibility and private life. The civic subsystem of Calvinist theocracy as a total social system, including an equivalent civil society, alongside an economy, polity, and culture, is what Weber identifies as the moralistic tyranny of Puritanism as Anglo-Saxon Calvinism. An exact proof or pathological syndrome of Puritan moral fascism is denying and suppressing the individual freedom of choice between alternative courses of action, consequently of personal responsibility, in the sphere of morality. In essence, Puritan moral fascism and in extension Calvinist (plus Islamic) theocracy would likely rather destroy than embrace an immoral and ungodly world, including America itself (blue or any regions not a Bible Garden), in the form of a liberal-secular civil society and democracy. Keywords: Calvinist theocracy; civil society; individual moral freedom; private life; Puritan moral fascism
