Abstract
Organophosphorus-based chemical warfare nerve agents are the most terrifying weapons for mass destruction of humans. These can be obtained easily and used in comparison of other they are the biggest danger for environment and human life. There is a need for techniques for identification of these organophosphorus-based chemical warfare nerve agents in a precise, feasible and quick way. Now a days, there has been significant progress made in field of nanosensors. The development in the field of polymers open a channel for enhancing the property of nanostructured sensor. Composite of hydrogel and nanopolymers makes the sensor highly sensitive, effective and also increases the surface area. In this chapter a complete detailed information about different types of smart hydrogen nanostructured sensors and sensing technique used in identification of organophosphorus chemical warfare nerve agents is discussed.
