Abstract

This chapter describes the mathematical formulation for the three-dimensional unsteady arbitrary Lagrangian–Eulerian (ALE) incompressible flow solver developed by the authors’ research group. The discretization method and mesh movement algorithm are introduced in detail. Furthermore, the parallelization strategy for the proposed ALE flow solver is also presented. The source codes for parallelization method are listed in the appendix for the reader to better understand the method.
