Abstract

The intelligence brings optimization of framework, adaption, and software reconfiguration is a necessity of future industrial automation systems (IAS). A framework with the AI technology for IAS is essential. The sequence of standardized interfaces among the data and exchange of information connects the components of AI with the control unit and the remaining entities of IAS. The framework is dwelled in the frame reference of architecture of intelligent digital twin (IDT). Finally, implementation of prototype is brought up from a modular system comprising cyber-physical production. The four basic subprocesses provided by IDT include observation, analyzing, undergoing reasoning, and performing action.
