Abstract

These properties only depend on the solute molar concentration and temperature, being independent of the nature of the solute particles. As an example, aqueous solution of NaCl is chosen and discussed, but the conclusion can be extended to all other solutions of this type, including other binary, ternary, or complex salts. The dependence of the NaCl solution density on temperature and concentration offers the opportunity of introducing topic and statistical method of the linear regression together with their significance tests (Student’s and F-test). The minimal order of the polynomial regression in terms of temperature and concentration is derived with their help.
