Abstract

As the bridge between the intelligent programming framework and the underlying deep learning processors (DLPs), artificial intelligence (AI) programming language is able to achieve high productivity, high performance, and high portability for developing AI applications on DLPs. This chapter first details the crucial AI programming model, which is built upon the abstract hardware architecture from the programmers' perspective. Then, this chapter elaborates the syntax, statements, built-in functions, and debugging and tuning tools of the AI programming language, as well as system-level programming and optimization methods with this language.
