Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a phenomenon that has become very popular these days. With the help of the IoT, various programs and devices can interact and talk with each other and even humans through an Internet connection. It allows you to manage and control the objects you use remotely with the help of Internet infrastructure; however, the real driving force behind the IoT is artificial intelligence (AI). Thus, it can be concluded that the growing partnership between IoT and AI means that smarter futures can happen sooner than we think. This combination is called AI of things (AIoT). Therefore, there is no doubt that the AIoT can completely transform the medical industry by redefining the role of applications, devices, and the way people communicate in providing medical solutions. As a result, the AIoT is an opportunity for medical centers and hospitals to optimize their treatment process and resources. For this reason, the present chapter examines the role and applications of these technologies in the field of treatment. It provides a framework to show the dimensions and components affecting the AIoT-based healthcare systems.
