Abstract

With the development of additive manufacturing (AM) technology and commercial applications, large-batch and personalized customization will become an important production mode. The close integration of AM with the modern service industry will lead to new subsectors and new business models, creating new economic growth points. Advances in product technology, manufacturing technology and management technology brought about by the development of AM technology enable enterprises to have the ability to respond quickly to market demands, especially to form a coordinated new production model that adapts to the diverse customer base in the global market and realize remote customization, off-site design, and local production and sales, so that the production model, business model, and other aspects have undergone fundamental changes. This chapter will list several application cases of AM materials.
