Chapter 6 - Implementation of basic positive trends in the development of accelerated testing

Abstract

Chapter 6 describes the positive trends that are occurring with new concepts of accelerated testing (AT). It will consider the different areas of implementation of accelerated testing development, including: •Better understanding of the (AT) science and approach by professionals in the field;•The actual advances in accelerated reliability and durability testing (ART/ADT);•The published citations by this author's publications, with examples;•Some of the many official written solutions that relate to organizational aspects of wide implementation new technologies of accelerated testing and recognition of the author's expertise in this area;•Information from some of the many published reviews of the author's previous books that relate to ART/ADT;•Some strategic aspects and principles of these trends in advanced AT from author's presentations to International Congresses and Symposiums;•Some results of the implementation in different forms in United Nations papers, Institutes Academy of Sciences the Soviet Union, and world-class industrial companies, including Nissan, Jatko (Japan), Carl Schenck and Hereus Vothch (Germany), Iscar (Israel), DaimlerChrysler, Marcel Dekker, and others;•Implementation of positive trends through seminars for the American Society for Quality, the Ford Motor Co., and others;•Implementation of reliability testing and risk assessment through international standardization in Aerospace and Automotive engineering.
