Abstract
Because citrus peel is rich in nutrients such as carbohydrates, fats, food cellulose, and vitamins, reprocessing of citrus peel is becoming increasingly important. In recent years the amount of processed and exported dried citrus peel in the major producing areas in China reveals a rising trend, the major exporting countries include Japan, Southeast Asian countries, and other Asian countries. Meanwhile, citrus peel can be used as the raw material to develop complex sauces, candy, and feed additives.
