Abstract

Day after day, the ever-increasing greenhouse gas emissions on our planet come our way, posing an important problem that concerns not only certain countries but all humanity. Industrialization and improving the countries’ economic conditions have been important factors in increasing carbon emissions. The factors that increase carbon emissions, which are frequently discussed in existing literature, are the use of fossil fuels, population growth, increase in energy need, urbanization, decrease in green spaces, etc., which we may possibly sort. Due to the increasing amount of energy after the Industrial Revolution, the level of carbon emissions in the atmosphere demonstrated a severe upswing; although people did not notice it at first, we are now confronted with environmental issues as time progresses. Today, it is a huge problem. Nature itself gave the fastest response in this regard, and as we have witnessed in recent years, there has been a significant increase in the number of extraordinary weather events (Carbon Brief, 2022).
