Abstract

At radio wavelengths we can study a planet's subsurface layers, its atmosphere, and charged particles in its magnetic field. In this chapter we provide a very short review of radio astronomy techniques and the underlying physics necessary to interpret the data. We present a variety of (recent) results on giant planets (atmospheres, magnetic fields), the Moon and the terrestrial planets, small bodies (e.g., satellites, asteroids), and comets.
