Abstract
This chapter, which is the fruit of the expert efforts of the Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer [Spanish Cancer Association] in the psychosocial field, reflects on the emotional aspects of colon cancer, treating issues such as screening programs and how to adapt to the different surgical, radiotherapy, and systemic treatments available. We also deal with the emotional aspects of disease and treatment sequelae, from a biopsychosocial perspective.
