Abstract

Hydrosilylation of alkenes and alkynes is the most fundamental and elegant method for laboratory and industrial synthesis of organosilicon molecular and macromolecular compounds, which can also be directly subjected to organic synthesis. The aim of this chapter is to present a concise overview on the most attractive results of the catalytic hydrosilylation of alkenes and alkynes published in the last decade (2005–15).
