Abstract
Reasons for and application of shaping of industrial heterogeneous catalysts are briefly presented. The configurations of the most common types of industrial heterogeneous catalytic reactors are summarized. Deactivation and regeneration of catalysts is discussed. Some data on laboratory testing of industrial reactors are also given.
