Abstract

The progressive decline in the ability of cell or organism to resist stress and disease is known as aging. Aging is an intricate biological process affecting cells, tissues, organs, and organisms. The process of aging with advancing age is inevitable. However, such aging processes can be delayed using effective applications to minimize the burden of old age. The aging process predominantly diminishes the homeostasis and increases the vulnerability of organisms to various diseases. The key antiaging strategies particularly focus on averting the inception of age-related diseases and improving the quality of life in old age. The present chapter particularly focuses on the various antiaging strategies at molecular, cellular, and organismal level to minimize the ailing effects in old age.
