Abstract

So far, cancer has no effective treatment methods or drugs, which is a major threat to human health. One of the key problems in cancer treatment is to detect the growth of cancerous cells at an early stage. Accurate diagnosis and staging of cancer are critical in designing a treatment plan. This process relies on intelligent diagnosis methods learned from a variety of imaging data which mainly use CAD to learn methods for cancer detection and diagnosis. Corresponding characteristics are obtained from the image data of the lesion to assist the computer in making a diagnosis and play an active role in the treatment of cancer. This article provides a simple, in -depth introduction to intelligent diagnosis methods. According to the classification of several common medical images, different cancer detection and diagnosis methods are sorted out. This article also introduces the widespread applications of CNN, a mainstream medical image processing method in cancer diagnosis.
