Abstract

The Chertsey Establishment Trial located in Canterbury, New Zealand, was established in 2003 to investigate cultivation intensity on crop production and soil quality. The split-plot experiment investigates crop establishment methods utilizing commercial-scale machinery under dryland and irrigated conditions reflecting typical Canterbury rotations.
