Abstract

CFD (computational fluid dynamics) makes up for the shortcomings of traditional experimental research methods in the design and optimization of biohydrogen reactors. CFD simulates and analyzes the internal momentum transfer, heat transfer, reaction processes, and scale-up experiments of biohydrogen reactors in the simulation of heat and mass transfer and reaction processes. CFD can optimize the structure and operating parameters of the hydrogen production reactor to obtain a solution to improve the efficiency of biohydrogen production and eventually provide basic theoretical support for the scale-up and industrialization of the biohydrogen production process.
